"As Elmer the patchwork elephant is strolling through the jungle, he hears a cry for help. A butterfly is trapped. Elmer easily frees her. She promises to help Elmer. But how can a butterfly ever help an elephant?"--

When Grandpa Eldo asks Elmer and Wilbur to help a young elephant find her way back to her herd, they are surprised to find that she is pink, but even greater surprises are in store for them.

"The young elephants want to race to prove who is the fastest, but sometimes winning isn't about coming first!"--

Elmer, Wilbur, and three friends find a kind of palace in the jungle. The others think that the famous lost treasure must be inside, so they race around looking for it. Only Elmer the patchwork elephant and his cousin Wilbur have noticed the real treasure.

There is pandemonium in the jungle! A strange roaring sounds sends the animals stampeding, convinced it's a monster. But all is not as it seems. Only Elmer is brave enough to investigate, and what he discovers comes as quite a surprise!

Rain or no rain, Elmer is going for a walk. After being cooped up in a cave with his herd, he longs for a bit of fresh air and some peace and quiet. But peace and quiet is going to have to wait - when Elmer goes outside, he discovers the rain has caused a flood. Can brave Elmer work out a way to save a stranded young elephant?

One day, Elmer notices that there are no birds around. How strange! Soon he finds them hiding from the nasty bully bird in a nearby cave. The bully bird is mean and likes to frighten the little birds. Led by Elmer, the animals work together to frighten off the bully - and succeed!

The king's beloved pet troon has vanished along with all the other unusual pets in the palace, so he commands Melric to find the pets and fast! Melric joins forces with his cousin Guz, and they soon discover that Sondrak the sorcerer is behind the petnappings. Can Melric and Guz use their magic to outwit the cunning Sondrak?

As Elmer strolls through the jungle, appreciating the beautiful smell of the flowers or watching the butterflies dance, his friends rush past, far too busy to stop and enjoy it with him. Can Elmer find anyone to share the moment with?
