On their second adventure through the magic mirror Abby and Jonah find themselves in the Cinderella fairy tale--and that is when things start to go really wrong.

Abby is worried because Jonah has the fairy Maryrose's memories mixed up with his own, but when they try to talk to her they get sucked through the mirror and find themselves in the story of The Frog Prince.

On their fifth trip through the magic mirror, siblings Abby and Jonah find themselves in the story of Rapunzel--and they set out to free her from her tower, reunite her with her parents, and give the story a completely happy ending.

The magic mirror has a crack and it sends Abby, Jonah, and Prince into the mixed up tale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and they soon find that Goldy is in need of a lot of gold to get her father out of jail, and so they find themselves negotiating between the Bears, who want honey, and Rumpelstiltskin, who just wants a friend or two--but King Ned is just plain greedy and somehow the children and Goldy's father have to escape from the king's jail,...

Abby is feeling slighted by not being chosen festival leader at school, and her brother Jonah thinks that a trip through the magic mirror is just what she needs--but when they find themselves in a strange version of the Princess and the pea, and Abby is tagged as the princess, who will be the next ruler of the Kingdom of Bog (which is very damp and infested with alligators), she is not so much complimented as desperate to find an alternate princess,...

When the magic mirror sends Abby and Jonah into the story of The Twelve Dancing Princesses to retrieve the crown ruby from the Kingdom of Douze, they follow the twelve sisters to the underground Dance Resistance Party where Abby learns she is not really a terrible dancer.

After moving to a new house, ten-year-old Abby and her younger brother Jonah discover an antique mirror that transports them into the Snow White fairy tale.
